Today is the first day of my 4th post-op week!!! Real food!!! Not that I have been eating fake food, but food I don't have to purée, blend, or mush!! For dinner I made skinny chicken nuggets from skinnytaste.com and mixed veggies...even my picky buddy boy loved them!!! My whole dinner was 192 calories and 21 grams of protien!!!
Yay, remember to chew, chew, chew. I found that first week really tough because everything else before had been the right consistancy. When I moved to solids, I was hungry and impatient. Congrats again. xx

ReplyDeleteLisa, All the credit to you....I only found skinnytaste.com because of readying your blog!! What a fabulous find!! Love it...I have made 3-4 things and my family loves it all too!!! From there I found Chocolate Covered Katie, all desserts, all healthy as she is vegan...amazing looking desserts there. Have not tried any desserts yet too soon for that, but when it is time, I will be making some of her amazing, sinful looking, sweet low cal deliciousness!!
